Sonali Bendre and Jaideep Ahlawat lead this journalistic drama that features them as heads of rival news channels with opposing ideologies. The former plays Amina Qureshi, the editor of Awaaz Bharati, who stands by the ethics of her job, whereas Ahlawat stars as Dipankar Sanyal, the head of Josh 24/7, who believes in reeling in viewers by sensationalising stories. The plot uses this setting and depicts the lives of these journalists as they swing between personal and professional issues while trying to thrive in this cut-throat environment of news presenting.

Trees of Peace (June 10)
Set amid the 1994 Rwanda genocide against the Tutsi and based on a true story, Trees of Peace follows four women as they hide in a secret room from the terror outside. Harbouring different beliefs and belonging to diverse backgrounds, their time in that tiny chamber allows them to share happiness, sorrow and grief as they keep each other alive. Eventually, the women develop an unbreakable bond of sisterhood, getting a lesson about humanity in travesty.
